A Midwinter Evening
On Christmas Eve, as his shop is invaded by Christmas carolers, greedy children and impatient church-goers, Joseph is reminded of his loneliness and distaste for the Christmas holidays. As he heads home for a quiet night alone, he encounters a young girl whose joy in the face of difficult circumstances touches his heart, helping Joseph to rediscover the true meaning of the holidays.
