Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, Taproot performances will be cancelled if, and only if, the I-5 freeway is closed.  When I-5 remains open, performances will continue on schedule.  If a performance is cancelled, ticket refunds and exchanges will be offered.

If you are unable to attend a performance due to inclement weather, you are still welcome to past date your tickets.  Past Dating is a way to apply an unused ticket toward a future performance.  To past date unused tickets:

Call the Taproot Theatre Box Office at 206.781.9707 early on the day of the performance you wish to attend.  The Box Office opens at 12:00 noon Tuesday through Saturday.  If we are certain that the performance will not be sold out, we will gladly hold new tickets for you until you return your used thickets that evening.  If your tickets are at the will call, we will exchange them right then.  To inquire about past dating your tickets into a matinee, please call after 2:00pm the day prior to the show.

Limitations and Exclusions:
Past dating of tickets will only be done on the day of the show.
Past dating of tickets does not guarantee seats comparable to those originally purchased.
Past dating tickets can only be redeemed for other performances of the same production.
