Taproot Theatre's Road Company tours dynamic educational plays to students throughout the Pacific Northwest, reaching tens of thousands of students each year with productions that address relevant social issues and provide youth with safe steps to approach them. The touring company reached an exciting milestone during the 2007/2008 school year, performing for its one-millionth student since it began touring dynamic social-issues plays to schools in 1985.

Our 2010/2011 touring season includes features four plays for elementary and secondary schools focusing on bullying and harassment. Treasure Ally, Super School, Don't Tell Jessica... and New Girl utilize principles from the leading bullying prevention curriculum including the Committee for Children's "Steps to Respect" bullying prevention program and "Second Step" violence prevention program.
