Taproot Theatre’s Road Company tours dynamic educational plays to students throughout the Pacific Northwest, reaching tens of thousands of students each year with productions that address relevant social issues and provide youth with safe steps to approach them. To date, the touring company has reached more than 1.5 million students since it began touring dynamic social-issues plays to schools in 1985.

Our 2016/2017 touring season features three plays for elementary and secondary schools focusing on bullying and harassment. Alexandra and the Dragon, Camp Super Friend, and CyberZoo: It’s Nothing Personal utilize principles from the leading bullying prevention curriculum including the Committee for Children’s “Steps to Respect” bullying prevention program and “Second Step” violence prevention program.
