Dear Friends,

Welcome to Taproot Theatre’s 50th Anniversary Season!

This year marks a golden milestone—50 years of stories told with heart, courage, laughter, and hope. As we celebrate this legacy, we’re also dreaming forward. Because while we honor where we’ve been, we’re even more excited about where we’re going.

This season was built with you in mind. It reflects what you’ve come to love about Taproot: classic comedies that charm and delight, bold new works that spark conversation, and inventive musicals reimagined for our intimate stage. From world premieres and regional debuts to the timeless voices of C.S. Lewis, Fats Waller, Neil Simon, and the iconic duo of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice—this season has it all.

It’s a yearlong celebration of the artists, audiences, and stories that have shaped Taproot—and a bold leap into what’s next. We invite you to laugh with us, reflect with us, celebrate with us, and—above all—hope with us.

We’re so glad you’re here!
