Taproot Theatre 2027 General Auditions

Taproot Theatre is seeking actors and singers for a wide variety of roles in our 2027 Season. We have yet to announce our upcoming season, but will do so by Tuesday, July 28—stay tuned!

Audition Dates:

Friday, July 31 from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM (monologues only; no accompanist)

Saturday, August 1 from 10:00 AM–10:00 PM (monologues and songs; accompanist will be present)

Monday, August 3 from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM (monologues and songs; accompanist will be present)

 

Submission Instructions:

Please sign up for a time using the Calendly link and then fill out the Airtable form.

 

Audition Requirements:

All: Please bring a physical copy of your headshot and resume.

Actors: Please prepare two short monologues (no more than three minutes total) of your own choosing that demonstrate your storytelling abilities.

Actors/Singers: Please prepare one monologue and one short musical theatre selection (no more than three minutes total) of your choosing that demonstrate your vocal and storytelling abilities. A pianist will be provided; please bring sheet music in the proper key. A Capella singing is also accepted.
