New: Digital Marketing Manager  – This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works with staff and artists at all levels of the organization to support ticket sales, enrollment, and bookings for Taproot’s performance and educational programs as well as promoting brand awareness of Taproot Theatre Company. This role is responsible for strategic digital initiatives, including web advertising, social media content, and email campaigns.

Box Office Representative  This position handles ticket sales, maintains the constituent database, distributes will call tickets, helps with seating or ticketing issues, and is on the ‘front line’ of contact with Taproot Theatre’s patrons.

Facilities Associate As a member of the facilities team, the Facilities Associate works before scheduled events and performances to ensure an attractive, sanitary, and safe environment for patrons, performers, visitors, and staff of Taproot. They will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to prep both the Kendall Center and Jewell Mainstage Theater for scheduled activities.

House Manager/Concessions Bartender This position oversees the front of house during performances. They are responsible for handling any issues that might arise with patrons before, during and after a performance, including but not limited to the following areas: seating, concessions, box office, maintenance issues, etc.

Teaching Artist – This position may craft theatrebased curriculum and provide professional instruction for Acting Studio classes and camps throughout the year. Classes may include comedy, acting, musical theatre, creative dramatics, and more. Specific assignments dependent on expertise, availability, and program schedules.

Staff at or above the director level are asked to confirm their Christian faith, and at present, permanent Taproot staff at all levels are invited, but not required, to participate in corporate prayer and many, but not all, self-identify as Christians. Seasonal workers and guest artists may choose not to participate in these customs and represent a diversity of backgrounds and faith traditions.

Public Health: Taproot Theatre Company requires every employee, volunteer, and contractor to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination can be vaccine card (copy or photo accepted), WA state immunization printout, or verified medical record printout from medical provider.
