Journey through the wardrobe and into the magical realm of Narnia in this imaginative adaptation.
Now that Narnia is only a memory, Lucy and Peter reenact their adventure to save it, telling stories of the great Aslan, the White Witch, and other familiar characters. This timeless tale of bravery comes to life on stage with just two actors, innovatively capturing the heart of C.S. Lewis’ classic.

A snowstorm hits the night of the big Christmas show.
The actors are missing, the house is packed, and the scripts have vanished! With no time to lose, the intrepid backstage crew jumps in—playing every role and making it up as they go. Fueled by audience suggestions and holiday cheer, they’ll improvise a brand-new Christmas story inspired by beloved seasonal classics. Anything can happen… and probably will!

Christmas Touring Information

2025 Touring Prices:
  • First Performance: $850
  • Second Performance: $500
Travel Fee: depends on distance. Please email touring@taproottheatre.org for a comprehensive quote. To begin booking your performance, please fill out our interest form.
Technical Needs:
  • The plays need a level, unobstructed acting area that measures at least 15 feet in width by 15 feet in depth.
  • The actors will need warm-up and changing rooms before the show.
  • The actors will need one hour prior to the assembly start time to set up and run a sound check if a sound system is being used.
    • Please note Taproot will not provide amplification unless specific arrangements are made. Actors will not require amplification for groups of 225 or less. If you are providing mics, they need to be hands-free, wireless mics (lapel or over the ear).
